Kim Dedeker
VP, Global Consumer and Market Knowledge, Procter & Gamble

Kim Dedeker joined Procter & Gamble's Consumer & Market Knowledge Department in 1982 after receiving her B.A. in Economics from the University of Cincinnati. She took over responsibility for P&G's global CMK organization of 1,100 people in March 2001.

During her 27 years with Procter & Gamble, Kim has had direct responsibility in each of the Company's Global Business Units giving her great breadth of experience in the application of consumer and market research. She has worked in assignments of increasing responsibility in the Company's Diapers, Paper Towel, Feminine Protection, Laundry, Home Care, Beverages, Health Care and Beauty Care businesses. She has ten years of experience in the P&G Beauty business and was instrumental in charting the course for global growth of the Pantene and Olay brand franchises. Additionally, Kim spent two years on assignment in Caracas, Venezuela where she had regional responsibility for P&G's CMK organization in Latin America.

Kim is noted for her skills in brand strategy combined with a practical sense for application of consumer & market knowledge. Kim is leading the CMK organization to an increasing level of influence within Procter & Gamble propelled by a vision to "pull the consumer to the center of business decisions and catalyze continual improvement in the health of our brands and overall business". Through Kim's leadership, the CMK organization is paving the way for a new chapter in Consumer Research at P&G via a new spirit of collaboration and innovation with other disciplines within Procter & Gamble.

Kim is a Member of the United Way Women's Leadership Council, the Consumer Research, Inc. Advisory Board, the National Center on Women and Aging Advisory Board as well as the Board Chair of WGUC, Cincinnati’s Classic Public Radio Station. She is a past Board Member of the Advertising Research Foundation and was the Chair for the 2001 Advertising Research Foundation Convention. Additionally, she is involved in numerous community organizations. Kim resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with her two sons.
